There's a well-known tenet of energy work, and physics, that energy is neither created nor destroyed.
It can release, return, transmute, transform, but it can't just *poof* disappear.
So, Reader, what happens to shame when it's released?
You reclaim the mirror
I've referred to shame using a mirror analogy a couple times now. A fun-house mirror, distorted in what it shows us. A mirror for our actions and beliefs. Even a witness; which what is a mirror if not a way for us to witness ourselves?
Depending on where it settles in your body, what it mirrors and distorts will be different. The shame that grows inside will be your body's interpretation of the shame that was projected at you, and that projection was another person's interpretation of the shame projected at them.
We can't just take this out as it is, give it a good shake, and have an accurate mirror again. Over time, the energy has warped so thoroughly that unbending it isn't possible. It'll always look like the windows in old houses with great character - a little wobbly.
So we shatter it and let it become something entirely new.
This is the process of dissolving shame
When I dissolve the embodied energy of shame, it unbinds, and we bring it out of your body.
These individual particles change form. They look like glittering dust, swirls of the finest light particles, or a cloud of sparkles. They now reflect your multidimensional form, your divinity, your wholeness, and your inclusion in something much bigger than yourself.
Shame becomes a multi-dimensional mirror. A witness not just to the worst things you think about yourself, but to your whole self. Everything you are, have been, and have yet to become.
I joke that it's at this point that I think we need a new name. We have a language association with the word shame, and truth be told, I don't think calling it the energy of shame once it's in this new form is correct.
It's the energy formerly known as shame.
Loving shame, in all of its forms
I love shame. That's hands-down the most effective way to work with this energy. Surround it in love. Love the you that was shamed. Love the you that shamed other people. Love all of it.
It's the frequency of love, yes, but also the understanding, the acceptance, and the desire to witness this energy in its highest form. And that's just really hard to do for yourself.
It's so incredibly difficult to love your shamed parts, or shamed self. It's difficult to love the parts of you that projected that shame. In the Shame Sessions, I get to do that part for you. And when we're finished and you have a multi-dimensional mirror, you can take the reins.
When shame dissolves, it becomes a cloud of light, a mirror made of stars. What it reflects back is no longer just distortion, but your wholeness. That’s the work waiting for you in the Shame Sessions.
This is the alchemy of what was unbearable into something utterly beautiful.
Surrounding you in love,
Ash
