Why shame enters at the Organ Realm

ICYMI I wrote an email last week about the energetics of shame and how it impacts the Organ Realm. It's helpful background before diving into today's email, which is all about WHY the Organ Realm is where shame enters our energetic anatomy.

A refresher before we go too deep. From my view, shame is an energy and a witness, not an emotion. Emotions show up in the Organ Realm like little bubbles that are their own beings with their own role and lifespan. They live out their purpose and are expressed by partnering with us humans in a symbiotic relationship.

It may sound really far-fetched to describe it this way, but that's what I've observed time and time again.

Shame doesn't show up like an emotion; it actually impairs this symbiotic relationship by repressing the role and potential of emotions. It creates an oily-looking coating around the little emotion bubbles and keeps them stuck. The energy of shame is attracted to itself, and these little shame-coated emotion bubbles move together and settle somewhere in the body. Often this is in the Organ Realm, but they can transport to any other Realm from here.

So why does shame appear in the Organ Realm first?

This is where we go back to shame as a witness, not as an emotion. And also remember that the Organ Realm is our 4th Realm, and the foundation of our interpersonal Realms.

Realms 1-3, Bone, Muscle, and Fluid are all intrapersonal Realms. They deal more with looking inside and questions of *me*

Realms 4-6, Organ, Nervous System, and DNA are interpersonal Realms. They deal more with looking at community and questions of *we*

The Organ Realm is a bridge between me and we, and is our first exploration of personal energy within an ecosystem and how that impacts the ecosystems we are a part of. It's also how our ecosystems impact us.

Shame, as a witness, is part of our ecosystem. This is a socialized witness, one that we have been taught through experiences with caregivers, with other people in community, through our culture, and our society. Shame observes and judges. It says "you should", which becomes internalized as "I should." It's not something inherent to us outside of our ecosystems and relationships.

Shame turns us away from one another. It inhibits our true expression and limits our ability to show up in relationship and within our ecosystems in the fullness of Who We Are. Shame inhibits us in finding communities that love us and accept us as Who We Are and for the way we provide what we do. Shame also keeps us from leaving ill-fitting ecosystems and communities.

It's the witness that stands between us and what we truly want, feel, and desire and reflects back a distortion. It's an oil reflection that serves nothing but itself.

This reflection and energy is then carried from our ecosystem to other parts of us. It distorts our foundations until we can't see them clearly or don't trust them. It stands between us and our relationship with resources. It impedes our flow. It warps the soul directives we hear through our Nervous System, and creates an artificial medium in the Quantum Realm that everything sits within.

Shame is a disease of mistrust that's continually reflected back on the self.

From my perspective and education from teachers like David Bedrick, who turned me onto this concept of shame as a witness, not only do we need to UnShame, but we need to resolve the energy of shame in our body because it's oily and slick.

What I've found in Organ Realm Immersion Sessions is that shame likes to stick to itself more than it likes to stick to us. It never struggles to let go. When I turn my focused awareness towards the energy of shame and give it a route to pool together and an opening to leave, it always takes it. Because when shame comes together in large concentrated doses it feels more powerful, which is why it tries to aggregate in our body.

But as it comes together with nothing in between except for more shame, it gets loud. It begins to shout and laugh maniacally and feel powerful and witness itself as it amplifies what it's reflecting. It can be overwhelming to observe. But when we create a portal through the container wall and invite it to go back to where it came from, it seeks that route. Because shame begets shame, like calls to like, and it leaves a quiet sense of self in its wake.

Who are you without shame?

This is a question I've been pondering deeply as my awareness of the energy of shame has been growing.

Just like when I studied the bones and had to step back from seeing them only through their unbalanced aspects and see the balanced potential of them, it's the same with the Organ Realm. I'm recognizing that I need to be able to see past the energy of shame, which distorts how an Organ feels or represents itself.

I had an interesting experience with this during an Organ Realm session and the pituitary gland, which is often called the master gland because it directs the hormonal synthesis, storage, and flow of so many different Organs.

The side of itself that the pituitary showed when it was accompanied by shame was "the puppeteer." It wanted to control, pull the strings, and direct exactly what was going to happen and when. There was a feeling of "if you can't do it right, why are you even trying?" underlying these energetic strings.

As shame was released from these strings, I could see the pituitary gland as "the director", and it showed itself specifically as the director of an orchestra. It wasn't trying to play the instruments and knew it wasn't fully responsible for the sound, but it was signaling to each part that it was its turn, and it trusted each part to do what it does best.

It's bringing a lot of self-reflection to my own Organs and curiosity as to who am I, and who are they, without shame. It's a question I'm eager to answer for myself.

There are only a few Organ Realm Immersion sessions left. Feel free to hit reply if you have questions about them, or book in here!

Welcome to a place for embodied processing. Here, I share is personal stories and the energetics of what is going on behind what we feel in our bodies. There's humor, love, holding, frankness, and inquiry for when you need it as you journey through life in a body you weren’t given a manual for…until now.
